Same visit crowns
At Twin Peaks Dental & Orthodontics, we understand that your time is valuable. We are happy to offer our patients the option to complete their dental work in one visit. This is made possible by state-of –the-art equipment called Cerec. The Cerec computer allows us to take digital impressions and make digital models of teeth that need crowns. We can then design the crown on the computer and use CAD/CAM (computer assisted design/ computer assisted manufacturing) to make your crown immediately in the office. This technology allows us to be more conservative in how much tooth structure is lost. Teeth that previously would have needed crowns can also simply have the filling removed and replaced with porcelain.
